What know you of Ryan Leslie?

     I'm a fan of Ryan Leslie's work.  Have been for a while, ever since Cassie's first album dropped.  Not necessarily as a singer/songwriter [although he's fairly decent in those categories, more so the latter than the former], but as a producer.  His abilities to combine smooth balladry with hard-hitting sonicscapes gives him a pretty unique sound. In his diligent [albeit desperate] attempt to plug, promote, and popularize his upcoming debut album, he documents his brainchildren via his YouTube page.  What makes this enjoyable is that the cinematography of these "making-of" joints make them seem like music videos themselves.  Watch the vid and see what I mean.

That would be the official alternate music video for "Addiction" (feat. Fabolous & Cassie). Peep that the stalker chick is played by Jaslene Gonzales from America's Next Top Model [no, I do not watch], and the cameo by Swizz Beatz.  Oh, and the fact that Cassie is in absentia for this version as well.  Scheduling conflicts, supposedly.
